Estuarine and marine surveys

In collaboration with Aquatonics Ltd. estuaries, harbours, lagoons and marine habitats are surveyed.  

Reasons for undertaking these surveys include assessing the impact of discharges, to map areas of contamination, to assess the conservation value or sensitivity of a site and to monitor the presence of protected or introduced species.

Types of projects undertaken include seaweed surveys, intertidal and subtidal invertebrate surveys. Survey methodology is tailored to suit the needs of the project.
